Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion for 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease and mix in garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread half of the diced green chiles in the baking dish, layer with the beef mixture, and half of the shredded cheese.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, flour, and baking powder until smooth, then pour over the layers in the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, then garnish with cilantro and jalapeños before serving.
