Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a floured surface and cut into small squares or triangles. Roll into balls.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until creamy.
- Flatten each dough ball, fill with cheese mixture, seal, and roll back into a ball.
- Form the balls into a Christmas tree shape on the baking sheet, leaving space for expansion.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg wash.
- Bake for about 18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with parsley or Parmesan if desired, and serve with dipping sauce.
