Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl until liquid and let cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Combine melted butter with 2 cups of granulated sugar, whisk until smooth, then add 4 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl, then fold into wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in 1 cup of sliced fresh strawberries.
