- Start by boiling water until it reaches a rolling boil (about 212°F). Pour 1 cup of hot water into a mug and steep the Earl Grey tea bag for 3–5 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, pour in 1 cup of your chosen milk over medium heat and stir occasionally, heating until steaming but not boiling, around 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves until fully combined.
- Once the tea has steeped to your liking, remove the tea bag and pour the steeped tea into a larger mug.
- Using a milk frother or whisk, froth the flavored milk until creamy and frothy for about 1-2 minutes.
- Slowly pour the frothed milk over the steeped tea, holding back the foam with a spoon for a layered appearance.
