For the Wraps
  • 2 pieces Low-Carb Tortillas Your base for a guilt-free wrap that keeps carbs low.
For the Filling
  • 8 oz Crab Meat Use fresh or canned crab.
  • 3 oz Cream Cheese Consider dairy-free alternatives.
  • 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used as a swap.
  • ½ tsp Old Bay Seasoning Mix your own if preferred.
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire Sauce Soy sauce or coconut aminos can be substitutes.
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Chives Green onions can be an alternative.
  • 1 piece Roma Tomato Any tomato variety can be used, though Roma's texture is preferred.
  • 1 Cup Shredded Italian Cheese Blend Substitute with cheddar or Swiss if desired.
  • Salt and Pepper To taste.

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Old Bay seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Fold in chives, chopped Roma tomato, and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Lay out your low-carb tortillas and warm them slightly in the microwave if stiff. This makes for easier rolling.
  3. Spoon the crab mixture onto the center of each tortilla, being careful not to overfill. Leave a small border for easy rolling.
  4. Tuck in the ends of each tortilla and roll them up tightly to encase the filling. Ensure the seam side is secured.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of oil, and cook the wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove the wraps from the skillet, let them cool for a moment, slice in half, and serve warm.
