Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut fresh mozzarella into 1-inch thick sticks and set aside.
  2. Prepare a breading station: mix flour with salt and pepper in one bowl, beat eggs in another, and combine panko breadcrumbs with Nashville seasoning in the last bowl.
  3. Coat each mozzarella stick in seasoned flour, dip in beaten eggs, and roll in panko mixture.
  4. Freeze the breaded sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 30 minutes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pot.
  6. Fry mozzarella sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
