Preparation

  3. Add milk, beaten eggs, softened unsalted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture and stir until smooth.
  4. Carefully pour the filling mixture into the prepared pie shell.
  5. Bake the pie for about 45–50 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  6. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.
