  • 4 pieces Crispy Chicken Tenders Can use grilled chicken strips for a lighter version.
For the Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 slices Smoky Bacon
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Substitution: Pepper jack for spice, or mozzarella for extra meltiness.
  • 4 pieces Bread (Hot Dog Buns or Hoagie Rolls) Can use gluten-free buns for gluten-sensitive diets.
For the Sauce and Garnish
  • 1/2 cup Honey Mustard Sauce Substitution: Mix Dijon mustard with honey and mayo if out of honey mustard.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for toasting buns.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly butter the insides of the buns and toast them in a skillet over medium heat for about 3–5 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Assemble the sandwiches by placing a crispy chicken tender in each bun and adding a slice of crispy bacon.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over each sandwich. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 5–7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Drizzle each sandwich generously with honey mustard sauce.
  5. Serve warm, optionally garnishing with chopped green onions or parsley.
