  • 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce Use regular soy sauce with molasses if unavailable.
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Freshly grated.
  • to taste Sriracha Adjust to taste for spice lovers.
For Sautéing
  • 1 tbsp Peanut Oil Consider vegetable or canola oil as alternatives.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the LoMein noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Sauté Pork: Heat peanut oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground pork and sliced green onions. Sauté for 5-6 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, mirin, dark soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add sriracha to taste.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Lower heat and add noodles and coleslaw mix to the skillet. Pour sauce over and toss for a few minutes until evenly coated.
  5. Finish Cooking: Toss gently for another 2-3 minutes until coleslaw wilts and noodles heat through.
  6. Serve: Spoon into serving dishes and garnish with additional green onions before serving.
