  • 3 tablespoons olive oil substitute with garlic-infused oil for more flavor

  • 2 tablespoons butter can be swapped with margarine for dairy-free
  • 1 medium minced fresh onion or shallots or white part of green onions
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard adjust to your liking
  • 1 clove minced garlic use granulated garlic as a substitute if needed
  • chopped chives or parsley optional garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the cabbage into four equal wedges and coat each with olive oil, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the wedges on the baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes. Flip and roast for another 8-10 minutes until browned.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add onion, garlic, salt, and pepper, stirring until translucent.
  5. Stir in the Dijon mustard and mix well. Drizzle the sauce over the roasted cabbage and garnish with chives or parsley.
