  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder fresh for best results
  • 1/4 tsp Salt sea salt if available
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda essential
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or plain yogurt
  • 1 large Egg or 1 tbsp chia/flax + 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract homemade preferred
  • 1/4 cup Freeze-Dried Strawberries or dried cranberries
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar or blend granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milk non-dairy milk works too
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Crumb Topping Mixture mix flour, sugar, and butter

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line donut pans.
  2. Combine flour and sugar with cold butter to make the crumb topping.
  3. Sift dry ingredients in one bowl; whisk wet ingredients in another, then combine gently.
  4. Fill each donut cavity about 3/4 full with batter.
  5. Bake for 7-9 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 3 minutes in the pan.
  6. Whisk powdered sugar and milk to create the glaze.
  7. Dip cooled donuts in glaze and sprinkle with crumb topping.
