Ingredients
  

For the Patties
  • 1 lbs ground beef 80/20 blend recommended
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup bread crumbs for binding
  • 1/2 cup milk to moisten
  • 1 large egg beaten
For the Coating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 2 cups bread crumbs for coating

Method
 

Making the Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, bread crumbs, milk, and egg. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Shape mixture into patties of desired size.
  3. Chill patties in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Coating and Baking
  1. Bread each patty by first dipping in flour, followed by beaten eggs, and then coating in bread crumbs.
  2. Place coated patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
