  • 4 cups Green Cabbage pre-shredded saves time
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 3 Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger grated
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce hoisin sauce as substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar apple cider vinegar as alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil drizzle before serving
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil neutral oil for cooking
  • to taste Salt & Pepper essential seasonings
  • 3 Green Onions sliced for garnish
  • to taste Sesame Seeds optional garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by warming 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef to the hot skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Introduce 1 finely chopped onion, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in 4 cups of pre-shredded green cabbage and cook for 4-5 minutes until slightly softened.
  5. In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, and 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar. Pour over the stir-fry.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, over hot steamed rice.
