Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, whisk together egg, flour, sugar, salt, lemon juice, and almond extract until smooth, then add the cream cheese and whisk until creamy.
  2. Unfold and roll out the puff pastry on parchment. Cut into two rectangles (5x10 inches), scoring a border ½ inch from the edges.
  3. Brush edges with milk and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oven, create indentations, fill with cream cheese mixture and add raspberry jam.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes until golden.
  6. Allow to cool, whisk together confectioner's sugar and water for glaze, drizzle over pastries, and top with sliced almonds.
