- Prepare the green beans and shallots while the tofu is pressing. Trim and chop green beans.
- Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and coat with cornstarch.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a wok and stir-fry the coated tofu for 10-15 minutes until crispy.
- Sauté shallots and green beans in the same wok for about 5 minutes.
- Pour the black pepper sauce over the vegetables, add crispy tofu, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Serve over rice or quinoa and garnish with fresh Thai basil.
