  2. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Roll the dough into a rectangle approximately ¼ inch thick on a floured surface.
  4. Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the surface of the dough, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the breadsticks for about 15–18 minutes until golden-brown.
  7. Let the breadsticks cool for 2–3 minutes before slicing them into strips.
