Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of fine sea salt. Whisk until fully blended.
  3. Drizzle ½ cup of melted unsalted butter over the mixture and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Fold in 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese and ½ cup of diced jalapeños.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together 12 ounces of beer, ½ cup of milk, 1 beaten egg, and 2 tablespoons of honey until smooth. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle extra cheese and jalapeño slices on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the loaf rest in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
