Ingredients

For the Sliders
  • 12 buns King's Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Buns Can substitute with any soft slider buns.
  • 8 slices Pepper Jack Cheese Can swap for cheddar or Gouda.
  • cup Cooked Bacon, crumbled Consider turkey bacon for a lighter option.
  • 2 cups Fried Chicken Tenders, roughly chopped Grilled chicken is a healthier alternative.
For the Toppings
  • ½ cup Honey Mustard Homemade honey mustard can enhance flavor.
  • ½ large Avocado, cubed Can replace with sliced cucumbers.
  • ¼ cup Cherry Tomatoes, quartered Other colorful veggies can be used.
  • 1 pinch Flaky Salt Sea salt is a suitable substitute.

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Sheet
  • Large Bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Split the King's Hawaiian pretzel slider buns in half and arrange them cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  2. Evenly distribute the slices of Pepper Jack cheese over both halves of the buns, then sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.
  3. Broil for about 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning, until the cheese melts and the buns are golden brown.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the roughly chopped fried chicken tenders with the honey mustard until evenly coated.
  5. Layer the honey mustard chicken on each bottom bun half, then top with the cubed avocado and quartered cherry tomatoes. Finish with a pinch of flaky salt.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns over the loaded bottoms and serve immediately while warm, with extra honey mustard for dipping.
