- Cut your stale loaf of bread into 1-inch cubes or slices and place into a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk together the dairy-free milk, brown sugar, cornstarch, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and black salt in a separate bowl until combined.
- Grease the casserole dish and scatter the cubed bread in the dish. Pour the custard mixture over the top.
