Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Beat the granulated sugar and softened unsalted butter together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the large egg into the butter-sugar mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture into the butter mixture, alternating with the freshly squeezed orange juice.
  6. Scoop out portions of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
